[DataTable] Data row does not respond to MaterialState.hovered #138968

Is there an existing issue for this?

Steps to reproduce
< UPDATE >
I found a way to make this work.
If you add a onSelectChanged: (isSelected) {}, to the DataRow, the onHover starts working.
If this is a requirement "by design" please update the documents and sign off.

I have reproduced this issue on Web and Windows Desktop apps.
Create flutter project using the the supplied main.dart
Run the app
Move the mouse over any row.
Expected results
When the mouse hovers over a row, I expect the row color to change.
Actual results
Nothing happens when the mouse hovers over the row.
