Triagers have noticed that waiting for customer response is being seemingly randomly removed from issues. Examples:

• BottomNavigationBar and PageView click to switch item issues #129738 where it was removed almost immediately after being added.
• java.util.concurrent.RejectedExecutionException:  #128945 where it was removed after about a week, but without any comments.
• Looking for new flutter package and exposing the SDK cryptographic/access primitive to Dart for secure usage #128921 where is was removed once with no triggering event, and then again either for a comment by someone other than the OP, or maybe randomly but coincidentally after the comment.

Having this label being randomly removed will make it much harder for us to keep un-actionable issues from accumulating in the issue systme.
