I believe we no longer have a dev branch (https://github.com/flutter/flutter/wiki/Flutter-build-release-channels#which-channel-should-i-use), but this message still refers to it:

--cocoapods is only supported on the dev, beta, or stable channels.

If that's the case, then let's change it to only refer to beta and stable channels.,
