…ation links When a category with a generated-index link appears as a previous/next pagination item, its title was not being translated. This happened because doc navigation data was computed before sidebar translations were applied, and translateVersion only updated sidebar labels without propagating changes to docs' previous/next navigation links. Added translateDocNavigation that builds a permalink-to-translated-label map from the already-translated sidebars and updates pagination titles for generated-index categories. Closes facebook#8118

Thanks! Looks like it's working as intended.
Although this is not the ideal solution, it still solves the problem, so for now, I think we can merge this as a temporary solution, and then do a proper refactor later
The problem is that the docs navigation is inferred from the docs and sidebar structure. Unfortunately, for historical reasons, it has always been part of the "content loaded" data structure, while it shouldn't have been part of it.
The proper solution would be to refactor things and compute the navigation data structure in the contentLoaded() lifecycle, after things have already been translated
Your solution
- loadContent(), generate docs navigation
- translate content, including docs navigation
- contentLoaded()
Better solution
- loadContent(), no docs navigation
- translate content
- contentLoaded(), generate docs navigation directly from translated sidebar
Considering this solves the problem, and removing the navigation from the content is kind-of a breaking change, this solution is great for v3 👍

When a sidebar category uses a
generated-indexlink and appears as a previous/next pagination item at the bottom of a doc page, its title is not translated — it always shows the original (English) label, even when viewing the site in another locale.This happens because:
