Tutorials for getting started with an f8 softcore on an FPGA board. From blinking LEDs, via "Hello, world!" on a serial line to simple benchmarks. As far as possible, for all boards a free toolchain is used. Supported boards: * iCEBreaker and UPduino 2 Free board designs featuring the Lattice iCE40UP5K FPGA. A free toolchain (sv2v+yosys+nextpnr+icepack+iceprog) works well for these boards. The f8 works well, but the limited resources of the iCE40UP5K can be a restriction for some uses. * GateMateA1-EVB A free board design featuring the Cologne Chip GateMate CCGM1A1 FPGA. Since a free toolchain (sv2v+yosys+nextpnr+icepack+iceprog) was not fully until recently, we still use a non-free P&R tool. The f8 works well. Work in progress: * Tang Nano 9K A board featuring the Gowin GW1NR-9 FPGA. The tutorial uses the free toolchain (sv2v+yosys+nextpnr+gowin_pack+). The f8 works well.
