Hey! Long time maintainer here!

I'm sad to inform that I can no longer maintain this project because of conflict of interest with my full time job. I would continue contributing, but I'm unable to do it in the present and for a couple of years in the future (at least).

I'm very proud of what we could achieve as a community and also thankful to the team who have bestowed this responsibility and trust over me ❤️ . Oh, I'll never forget anybody that waited for my mistakes in each platform!

what's not changing

Espanso is not going to become unmaintained, nor left aside without response from the team. We will continue working in this project, with some turmoil because of the roles and responsibility reorganization.

what it is

From now on, the current flagship, fresh maintainer is @Archigos 🎉. He is already a long time contributor of the org and you probably met him in Discord or some github issues (especially the mac ones). Everyone else is staying in a very similar position as they were before this event (with some additional permissions/roles)

I'm going to be around for some time, so the transition is as smooth as I possibly can, but you probably won't see me answering issues or PRs.
I'm still active for this month, but I'll have to focus my attention on the top priority issues, like signature of macOS or security concerns. I'm not going to contribute or review code.

when this is happening

We had a discussion about how to make this change within the team, to make its impact as little as possible, so it's been a process since last month.
Since PR #2597 I change my code ownership to Archigos so, starting today you have a new maintainer with some fresh energy and a buttload of stuff to resolve 😆 (as any open source).

Once more, I thank everybody for these 2+ years in this community.
