KMAC was relying on other cryptographic primitives performing initialization of OpenSSL. If KMAC happened to be the very first cryptographic algorithm used in the process, it would behave as if KMAC was not supported on the system, even if it was.
This changes KMAC to properly initialize OpenSSL.
