This PR modifies the
.travis.ymlto enable Travis CI builds for both Linux (Ubuntu) and macOS/OSX, as is already done for the fsharp/fsharp repository.Attempts to build the
masterbranch of this repository currently fail on my macOS-based machine; after digging into the failures, it looks as though there are several issues in the build scripts which need to be resolved to get this repository building on macOS. Enabling macOS/OSX builds on Travis CI will help track these issues and later make it easier to see when changes specifically break the build on OSX.Work to get builds working on macOS is being tracked in #2114.
