This is a reminder issue for me to try find the time to lookup a local copy with additional improvements / fixes for #3068

Presently this is quite a low priority for me and finding that branch is going to take a while as it exists on an old system disk, likely in a VM image. That system had a hardware failure earlier in the year, and I relied heavily on the OS + software for keeping track of where active projects were located (juggled quite a few projects), without that state accessible locating/recovering the data will take some time.
