Disable virus/spam checks only for outbound messages

Yesterday I've send my first newsletter using this software. It went pretty slow (about 1-2 msg/sec) until I've disabled Spamassasin (ENABLE_SPAMASSASSIN=0). After this change the speed imporoved to something like 50 mails/sec. In the future I also plan to use this image as my incoming mail solution. This would require enabling spamassassin for incoming mails. Is it possible?
