Is this still still relevant? There have been several releases of rapier/bevy_rapier and a major release of Bevy since this was opened, and the bevy_rapier docs seem to say kinematic rigid bodies are currently supported. If that's true, perhaps this pull request can be closed. |

I haven't been following bevy_rapier recently, so can not comment on the current state. But I guess this pull request can be closed, and used as a reference if any needs for implementation arise in the future. |
