- macOS client (hostname: chiark) - has it's built-in screen
- macOS on the left, Linux on the right
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Absolutely default configuration on both machines.

Additional information
Both machines are set on hungarian language and hungarian keyboard. No secondary lang or keyboard are set up. Still, it doesn't detect hungarian, so it falls back to english layout on the mac, thus I cannot write accented characters, and many characters are on another key.
I tried deskflow, synergy3 and input-leap, all have the same problem.

Both machines are set on hungarian language and hungarian keyboard. No secondary lang or keyboard are set up. Still, it doesn't detect hungarian, so it falls back to english layout on the mac, thus I cannot write accented characters, and many characters are on another key.
