Hello World! 🌎

  • 👾 My name is Deena, and I'm a senior studying EECS + Business at UC Berkeley
  • 🪐 I'm passionate about machine learning, AI interpretability, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and engineering with craft and with purpose!
  • 🦖 I love dinosaurs, space, Impressionist art, jazz, and 20th century design (some of my favorite examples are NASA's worm logo and the iconography of the Mexico 1968 Olympics).
  • I'm currently:
    • making magic as Hex's first intern!
    • researching mechanistic interpretability, evals and observability for agentic AI systems, and post-training
    • course-staffing for CS 189/289 (Introduction to Machine Learning) at Berkeley
    • a research + external officer with Machine Learning @ Berkeley
    • an Accel Scholar
    • learning, learning, and learning!
