Description
Not sure what is causing this, or why this seems to fix it, but upgrading to sdk 0.17.0 appears to fix the connection behavior while also not breaking our OAuth behavior (which 0.18.0 does). Working on getting mypy to stop complaining, as its possible that would cause other issues if left unchecked.
