In the short term, before we update and introduce split diagnostic and discovery docs, or whatever that will entail, my plan is loosely as follows:

Make dart.dev/lints cover everything currently on https://dart-lang.github.io/linter/
- Add a page which includes all rules in an analysis options file. (Add a file listing all released, non-removed linter rules site-www#4990)
- Update information to match current status of the linter and linter rules. (Implement individual linter rule pages site-www#4999)
- Introduce an index similar to the old one which allows for easy discovery. (Implement individual linter rule pages site-www#4999)
- Move linter rule information to their own pages. (Implement individual linter rule pages site-www#4999)
Update the generator on dart-lang/linter to redirect to dart.dev/lints/<rule>.
- Use http-equiv and specify a canonical URL. (Add redirects and specify canonical URLs pointing to dart.dev dart-archive/linter#4504, Redirect gh-pages homepage to dart.dev dart-archive/linter#4507)
- Disable automatic generation of pages (Remove most remaining doc generation code dart-archive/linter#4585, Remove automatic gh-pages doc generation dart-archive/linter#4625)
- Add backup text directing to the new locations. (Leave backup text crumbs pointing to new docs dart-archive/linter#4582, Finalize retirement of gh-pages branch dart-archive/linter#4626)
- Extra: Remove old unnecessary content and styles for quick page load (Finalize retirement of gh-pages branch dart-archive/linter#4626)
Update links around dart-lang and flutter repos to point to the new dart.dev equivalents.
- Update all links within dart-lang/linter, specifically the one in the repository description. (Update more site links to point to dart.dev dart-archive/linter#4505, Remove irrelevant pubspec links dart-archive/linter#4466)
- Update links in flutter repositories (Update analysis, linter, and repo links in analysis options flutter/flutter#129686, [various] Update links to the old linter site to point to dart.dev flutter/packages#4333, Update links to old linter site to dart.dev flutter/flutter#129866, TODO...)
- Update links in dart-lang repositories (https://dart-review.googlesource.com/c/sdk/+/311880, Update link from old linter site to dart.dev test#2046, Update old linter site links language#3186)
- Update the analyzer to point to dart.dev/lints/<rule> in diagnostic messages (25c0ae1).
- Update internal links or documentation (?)
