Situation

• PR test(deps): update next to 16.0.7 #1600 mitigated CVE-2025-66478 in the examples/nextjs project by updating to [email protected].
• This change was not published to the production branch v6

Change

Update examples/nextjs to the latest version:

Verification

Execute:

cd examples/nextjs
npm ci
npm audit

and confirm no vulnerabilities are reported. Then execute:

npm run dev

and then in a separate terminal, execute:

npm test

confirming that the Cypress test passes.
