• Elements feel like separate, movable parts

Option 3

• Bow tie and collar
• "VX"

• Hourglass

Option 4

• Camera lens
• Mechanical (nut? gear?)

Option 5

• Winking face
• Planet with moons
• Tic-tac-toe

While not exactly the same, I think #3 is somewhat close to the Youtuber MKBHD's logo: I lean more towards #2 to ensure we have a fair amount of separation in the logo. IMO at least :)

Option 3 does refer to the YouTube channel, now that you mention it. Regarding option 2, I'm not convinced about having two separate elements when a logo should convey unity or something that contains it. I'm still convinced by option 1 by difference, even though it reminds me of a domino tile.

Hello, I also created a draft logo for Crosspoint. I thought it would be interesting to combine the cross (X) and the point (.) into a single design.

unfortunately, the #5 is very similar with XO Medtech logo, so we cannot use this

update on #3, I added rounded corner. But I'm not sure is it better or not

I don't feel very comfortable taking the X from Xteink's logo as I'm not entirely sure they want their brand associated with CrossPoint

Awesome job! I especially loved #1 and #4.

For me, the design feels too playful. I am also concerned that highly rounded elements may not render well at this resolution. Additionally, I would recommend avoiding the use of grey elements in the logo.

I would also like to add that I do not read the “X” as an error symbol (unless one takes X, formerly Twitter, as a reference).

Finally, I would like to highlight that Dave Allie’s design is among my preferred options.

Either #7s are winners for the concept of cross + point.

9 trumps 7 for me. I understand the desire for halftone, but it just doesn't feel that nice to me. @lepislepis are you able to share the design file for these (or just a vector file for 7/9) so we can test these out on the X4's screen and see what they look like in the real world

I’m immediately drawn to @lepislepis' Option 1. As a designer, I really appreciate the minimalism here; it feels very intentional and sharp. It honestly gives me strong Teenage Engineering vibes (which is one of my absolute favorite design companies) that perfect mix of industrial and iconic.

Because the forms are so simple and clear, it’s going to be incredibly recognizable even when it’s scaled down. The simplicity ensures it stays legible even at very small sizes or low resolutions. It won't lose its identity when scaled down to a favicon or a small UI element. I also think it’s a brilliant choice for e-paper / e-book screens.

It just feels like a very robust, versatile direction for the Crosspoint "brand".

My vote is for 9
