Adds the io-uring related system call introduced in kernel 5.1 to the seccomp whitelist. With older kernels or older versions of libseccomp, this configure will be omitted. Note that io_uring will grow support for more syscalls in the future so we should keep an eye on this. Signed-off-by: Sebastiaan van Stijn <[email protected]>

Read through the other discussion; sounds like we just have to follow the community on the emergence of further/specific restrictions for these new syscalls when available.

correct, so we should consider if we're comfortable with that (or if there's concerns that we could miss such updates). FWIW, the original request for this to be added is a bit "sketchy" on the need (moby/moby#39396). I'm not familiar with where these syscalls are commonly used. If we don't anticipate them to be common, we could of course skip this patch (possibly instead leave a comment in the profile referencing this discussion), and leads it for "future reconsideration" |

Note that io_uring will grow support for more syscalls in the future
