Any chance this is looking to get backported to other release lines? In particular would like to know if 1.7 is going to be getting this fix. |

There are quite a few cgroup associated PRs in the delta between the containerd v1.7 and v2.2/main branches (fixes and features). Do you have a specific "fix" in mind? |

This PR specifically merged a single fix for #12493
David was asking if this fix could be backported to 1.7, so 1.7 and 2.2 could release patch updates. |
