uh.... can you give more context? handy is not a stt server, it is just a speech to text application which is triggered by a keyboard shortcut |

You can use transcribe-rs via wasm if you would like I believe. Handy is not a library it's a desktop application so it being WASM makes no sense. We may provide an API in the future but it's out of scope of the application for the moment. If someone wants to build this support I would be happy to at minimum review a PR for it. |

Hello, actually this requirement is quite simple: it's about exposing the speech-to-text functionality as an API. For example, if I want to transcribe subtitles, I can call this API, rather than only using the Whisper model within Handy. Because everyone wants to do more with limited memory. |

We need to activate Handy from within our own interface. Could you add an endpoint to start and stop the transcription in our own UI?
