BP Group Hierarchy Propagate

The BP Group Hierarchy Propagate plugin enables propagation of Activity Items up, down or up and down a hierarchy of BuddyPress Groups established by the BP Group Hierarchy plugin.

Note: this plugin has been developed and tested using BuddyPress 1.7+ and requires at least BP Group Hierarchy 1.4.2 if you want to switch the direction of propagation. The switch can be found on the BP Group Hierarchy settings page.

If you're a developer, I'd welcome your contributions. If not, it's probably better to install this plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Installation

There are two ways to install from GitHub:

ZIP Download

If you have downloaded BP Group Hierarchy Propagate as a ZIP file from the GitHub repository, do the following to install and activate the plugin and theme:

1. Unzip the .zip file and, if needed, rename the enclosing folder so that the plugin's files are located directly inside /wp-content/plugins/bp-group-hierarchy-propagate
2. Ensure BP Group Hierarchy is activated on the main BuddyPress site
3. Activate the plugin on the main BuddyPress site
4. You are done!

If you have cloned the code from GitHub, it is assumed that you know what you're doing.
