Filters as attributes instead of child elements, should be nicer for merges. Not that VS will actually write it like that. Also delete ancient UI mockup

Set filters as attributes instead of child elements, should help cut down on merge conflicts.
Not that VS will actually write it like that - will need manual upkeep.
Also delete ancient UI mockup.
