After the CAMARA Spring25 meta release, the following APIs have been separated into 5 individual repositories:
- SimpleEdgeDiscovery
- ApplicationEndpointDiscovery
- TrafficInfluence
- ApplicationEndpointRegistration
- OptimalEdgeDiscovery
For these APIs: This repository should be only used for maintenance of previous releases. For contributions to the API development please use exclusively the new repositories. Thanks!
For the EdgeApplicationManagement API: API development will continue in this repository until further notice
- Service APIs for “Edge Cloud” (see APIBacklog.md)
- It provides the customer with the ability to:
- Discover the closest edge cloud zone to a given device (https://github.com/camaraproject/SimpleEdgeDiscovery).
- Provide and manage application images to be deployed on resources within the operator network.
- Use reserved compute resources within the operator network for the deployment of applications on VMs or containers.
- Influence the traffic routing from the user device toward the Edge instance of the Application (https://github.com/camaraproject/TrafficInfluence).
- NOTE: The scope of these APIs should be limited (at least at a first stage) to 4G and 5G.
- Describe, develop, document and test the APIs (with 1-2 Telcos)
