• Network Name in Menu
  Show your connected Wi-Fi name directly in the menu bar dropdown and use it as the dynamic menu label.

macOS requires Location Services permission to access the Wi-Fi SSID, as intended by Apple, since network identifiers are protected under system privacy controls to ensure user privacy and security.

This feature is turned off by default and is only enabled if you choose to allow it, keeping full control in your hands at all times.

If you grant access, Online Indicator uses your location solely to read the name of your connected Wi-Fi network. Your location never leaves your device and is neither stored nor shared.
