What's your idea?

Is it possible to make the API public, to the extent of providing an OpenAPI spec/Swagger, maybe the option to generate our own API keys.

I'm a bit OCD on my metadata and I'd love to be able to update this through the API where the automated import doesn't include. So for example adding the series and series number to an item.

What problem does it solve?

Opens up a number of options, integrations with other systems. Such as monitoring, fixing metadata, etc
