What's your idea?

Make the series field act similarly to the genre and tags fields so that the series field can support multiple entries. Also combine the series index field with the series title field and tie the index to the series entry.

What problem does it solve?

Many books have multiple series that they are a part of whether that is a reading order or a sub series
