[Feature] 3-Way Reading Progress, Annotation, and Session Sync Across KOReader, Kobo, and BookOrbit #337

Description

@neonsolstice

What's your idea?

I would like to see seamless three-way synchronization for reading progress and annotations between KOReader, Kobo devices, and BookOrbit. Additionally, it would be great to re-add reading session sync to BookOrbit so that reading times and sessions are properly tracked and aggregated across all these platforms.

What problem does it solve?

Currently, switching between reading on a Kobo device, using KOReader, and viewing BookOrbit results in fragmented reading progress and isolated annotations. This makes it hard to maintain a unified library experience and keep track of highlights or reading stats. Re-adding session sync will ensure that all reading activity is accurately reflected on the user's dashboard regardless of the device used.

Anything else? (optional)

It would be ideal if the synchronization could happen automatically in the background, matching progress and translating highlights appropriately between the different device formats.
