What went wrong?
When reading in the web reader, moving to the next chapter sometimes loads the previous chapter instead of the correct one.
The chapter title in the top‑left updates correctly (showing the chapter I should be on), but the actual content displayed is still the old chapter.
Trying to switch chapters using the Table of Contents doesn’t fix it — the heading updates, but the text stays stuck on the previous chapter.
This happens intermittently when navigating forward through chapters.
Steps to reproduce
- Open any book in the web reader
- Read normally and progress to the next chapter
- Occasionally, the reader loads the same chapter again.
Expected vs actual behavior
I expected the reader to load the next chapter’s content when navigating forward or when selecting a chapter from the Table of Contents.
When moving to the next chapter, the reader sometimes loads the previous chapter’s content again.
Your setup
- BookOrbit version/image tag: latest
- Deployment: Docker
- OS: Windows 11
- Browser: Firefox, Chrome and Edge
