Add an option to choose which book cover is used as the series card image when a series is collapsed in grid view.
Possible options:
Series card image:
- First volume
- First unread volume
- Latest volume
- Custom selected volume
What problem does it solve?
The current collapsed series card shows multiple volume covers/images. While this can show that the series contains multiple books, it sometimes makes the card harder to recognize at a glance, especially when the covers are small or visually busy.
For large libraries, it would be easier to identify a series if the collapsed card could use one clear representative cover, such as the first volume, first unread volume, or a manually selected volume.
Anything else? (optional)
The default behavior could remain unchanged, with this added as an optional display setting. A manual/custom selection would also be helpful for users who want a specific cover to represent the series.
