Description

Mission data is reloaded from the vehicle on every reconnect, even when the mission has not changed. This clears the local mission state and causes unnecessary progress indicators.

"Set the home location in flight mode. Didn't show up when then going to mission planning mode, but did appear when I clicked to download mission from vehicle. But every time vehicle connects, you get a downloading mission from vehicle progress bar (can we just check if mission is same and not refresh it on every reconnect!?), so why can't the mission on vehicle automatically display? It loads in QGC once saved to vehicle and you have to clear or over-write."

Expected improvement

• Avoid reloading the mission if the vehicle mission matches the local one
• Preserve home location and mission state across reconnects
• Reduce unnecessary progress indicators during reconnection
