opening settings and then going "back" drops the session. That was not expected

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Ask goose to 'sleep for 10s'
2. Click on 3 dot menu
3. Go back
4. See session is lost

Expected behavior
Chat msgs in session should not be lost - unexpected behaviour

Btw, it is possible to click on 3 dot menu > Previous Sessions > Resume
