Buffer damage is just frame_damage + accumulated buffer damage and there's no point intersecting against accumulated_buffer_damage.

The added test seems apropos to the issue. The fix looks good. There are some nits that should help with the maintainability of the code. I have little experience with this code so bdero might have more concerns. LGTM. Thanks for the fast followup.

Does "screen coordinates" have a solid definition? Is that in logical pixels or real pixels?

It's the physical pixels of target surface. I think the name is used in other places in the engine. It's also referred to as device coordinates sometimes. Same thing, though maybe it should be consistent.

I thought the general consensus was to not calculate the result values in test from the input values. Maybe that's not the case, or I took it too literally?

Having just read through the previous test it definitely would have helped me. Some middle ground would be to use 60 - 50 instead of 10. I think the concern is someone calculating the assertion with the same code as they are checking?

The culprit test asks different threads to access some stack variables, but the stack might return earlier than the threads' completion. This PR fixes it by adding latches. This test, despite being possibly fine for now, consistently triggers the following asan error when I make some unrelated trivial changes. Buffer damage is just frame_damage + accumulated buffer damage and there's no point intersecting against accumulated_buffer_damage.
