Describe the bug
Incomplete creation of 'Material Test Grid' (and others ?) on certain OS-releases; present in the .deb and SNAP versions tested.
I have tested this on four machines at this point:
- Dell Laptop , Intel video-card, Noble Numbat Ubuntu 24.04 LTS , Deb + snap-package
- Desktop PC, Nvidia video-card, Noble Numbat, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS , Snap package
- Desktop PC, AMD GPU, Old Pop-OS release, Snap package
On all machines, except the laptop, this creates something that (seems) to be correct/complete.
However, on the laptop, there are (obvious) missing parts in the output in the sense that it fails to render whole sections of the label-text.
I have not been able to reproduce this on any of my other machines; so it is likely something specific to the combination of libraries (?) or fonts (?) on my laptop.
I cant seem to include GCODE produced on the laptop as well as screenshots of my AMD-gpu machine showing (what I imagine is correct) output there. Github doesn't permit me adding it.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to 'Tools->Create Material Test Grid' Default settings
- 'Toggle Workspace visibility' to show rendered lines
Expected behavior
I expect all items in source image to be rendered
Screenshots
Versions:
I will include these as comments, below
