If the class is anonymous and the staticBlock closure is appended, should we also run the namedEvaluationVisitor and prepend the setFunctionName helper call to the static block statements?

BTW, if the class is decorated and there are extra class initializers. Does the staticBlock closure now run before the class initializers?

The decorators plugin will run before the static blocks plugin (because it visits Class, while this one visits ClassBody) and will inject a static block to run the initializers. Then, this plugin will transform the static block.

@JLHwung Updated to preserve the name by injecting, when needed, a static block at the beginning of the class that calls the helper. Please take a look again! |
