#16 stated that libintl was unused, but that is not true. Applications that use argp can (and sometimes do) use its built-in gettext support to translate --help and --version output.

This library should also have corresponding translations from glibc (see i.e. the Ukrainian translations in po/uk.po) as well, so that applications that translate their own options can benefit from the translations of the argp built-in strings as well.

I am willing to work on this myself if it will be accepted upstream, but I wanted to make sure it would be before I set off on doing this work.
