Deprecate datafusion-comet-spark-expr crate #2404
Description
What is the problem the feature request solves?
Now that there is a datafusion-spark crate in the core DataFusion project, I would like to stop publishing the datafusion-comet-spark-expr crate as part of the release process.
Benefits of doing this:
- Since Comet will no longer be providing a public API, this lessens the need for Comet to follow semver
- Provide more motivation for contributors to help migrate the functionality to the
datafusion-sparkcrate ([EPIC] Migrate to functions indatafusion-sparkcrate #2084)
