I downloaded aMule from git master (9eda1c2) and compiled it in Ubuntu 20.04 with the default tools. I noticed that it runs normally for one hour, and then, it suddenly freezes and goes to 100% CPU and the memory usage begins to grow until it depletes the system memory after a few minutes.
At the same time there are many messages like this in the log, but I'm not sure if it is related, because the same messages show up also before the freezing during normal operation:
