At the moment amulegui stats graphing is being derived from what the client already has access to but it's only updated whilst the stats tab is chosen
The Kad graph isn't drawn at all
Some improvements to these should be considered
rerlating to discussion on the closed issue that fed into #127 : I agree with ngosang about hiding vs making items immutable.
As a suggestion:
- Read-only items shown slightly dimmer, with the selection boxes greyed out and a tooltip which says "not client-adjustable" or something similar
- Unavailable items - displayed but fully greyed out and a tooltip which says "not available to client processes" or similar
- Something similar in the directory selector tree. Greyed out on non-local connections and a tooltip saying "only usable when running this client on the same host as the server"
That way, people can see them and get reasons why they can't touch/read them.
BTW: the recent changes for dark schemes make text much more readable, thanks
