This checkbox will be off by default, this means that now posting through Mastodon apps will not appear in the main feed of your WordPress site, as this was surprising people (see akirk/friends#451).
Already before you could register your own post type and configure an app to post in that new post type, this now makes it a defaulf behavior. There is migration code for older apps to maintain the old behavior.
