Two options were considered for September's session and shared on Slack for media folks to indicate their preference:

• Mid-term goals for WordPress with Josepha: This was the second most voted option in the feedback form shared in July.
• Twenty Twenty-Five default theme: A discussion with TT5 contributors, as suggested by Matt Medeiros.

The briefing with Josepha was the preferred choice for September.

This GitHub issue serves to keep track of upcoming work and subtasks:

• Decide on the topics (potentially a mid-term goals session) and on a date and time based on guests' availability
• Draft and publish an announcement post for the next briefing
• Share the announcement post on Slack and ping media folks who asked to be notified of upcoming briefings
• Prepare logistics for the session
• Publish a reminder on Slack with the video call link before briefing
