You can witness this in the Pages view in the Site Editor currently. To reproduce:

  • Navigate to Appearance > Editor > Pages
  • Switch to Grid layout
  • Hide the Featured Image field
  • Observe it's no longer possible to select pages for bulk actions

Is this something that should be fixed at the DataViews layer, or in the Grid config for the pages view (lock Featured image so it cannot be hidden)?
