What problem does this address?
Currently, DataViews filters don't show counts for available options, making it difficult for users to understand the distribution of items across filter categories before applying them.
Specifically:
- Users cannot see how many items match each filter option without actually applying the filter
- Users must trial-and-error through filters to discover which categories contain items
- Empty or sparsely populated filter options aren't clearly indicated, potentially leading to confusion when a filter appears to do nothing.
What is your proposed solution?
Add optional count badges/numbers next to DataViews filter options to show how many items match each filter criteria.
