As a developer, this is actually a request from a designer(!). They have an issue with the dropdown displaying a focused state (from keyboard) as well as currently selected option, and hovered option. So three possible different colours in the options menu at once. They say it can be potentially confusing to a user. Imo I'm sure there's a valid reason for this (accessibility, can't work in the way suggested, other problems would arise from it needing this functionality). It's a very good plugin, thank you for this. The available configuration is excellent.
