Signal plots have minRenderIndex and maxRenderIndex properties. It seems like Scatter plots should have these too.

If these properties were available, perhaps the misunderstanding that led to #565 wouldn't have occurred, as scatter plots with live data could be plotted/updated identically to signal plots 🤔
