Mobile uploads: names of files are not saved if written in non-latin alphabet (Russian, Arabic, Chinese) #1952
Description
- Your Rocket.Chat app version: 4.5.2.2110 (beta)
- Your Rocket.Chat server version: 3.1.0
- Device (or Simulator) you're running with: HT 70
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the app, any room.
- Click on add files button, select from library, change the name to anything containing Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese characters (probably other non-latin as well, I only tested with these three)
- Send the file.
- Check the file name in the web client. It will be either empty or containing universal characters if they were put in the initial fine name.
Expected behaviour: the file name should be reflected correctly no matter what language it's written in.
