Description:

Whenever I set Unread Tray Icon Alert to on in my profile settings (in linux client or webpage), it will reload the page and it would turn to off. The default preference in admin settings is on.

Steps to reproduce:

1. go to my profile settings,
2. set Unread Tray Icon Alert to on

Expected behavior:

It keeps on and ever.

Actual behavior:

The page reloads and it is turned off.
