Description:

The "New Messages" button is showing up above a thread in an odd way.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Scroll up in a channel
2. Open a thread reply
3. Wait for new messages in the main channel

Expected behavior:

The "New Messages" button should have a z-index lower than the side menu thread, or it should pull to the left when the thread is opened.
