I am abusing the robot above but my hope is that when this is merged into branch release/hugr-py-v0.14.4 (which I have created with desired cherrypick), release-please will actually create the release. (I'm not clear how release-please was actually triggered for hugr-py 0.14.2 where #2703 was not merged...but the only way that I can see in the docs to get release-please to do anything is to merge a commit?)

Then I will cherry-pick the CHANGELOG into main, as #2708 did for hugr-py 0.14.2.
