Firefox 148 / WaveFox v1.9.148
Changes
- The style no longer changes system-related elements. Mozilla now supports all possible transparencies on all systems.
- The rounded web content window has been redesigned for horizontal and vertical tabs to better match the current design. It now works in full-screen mode. The old sidebar is no longer supported. Please switch to the new one.
- An autohide option has been added for vertical tabs. It may be added to horizontal tabs in the next release, but this will depend on technical capabilities.
- The rounded web window in vertical tabs can no longer be disabled. This option is now compatible with Linux without side effects. Transparency has been removed from the sidebar due to poor implementation at the property level. It may be reinstated in the future after a fix.
For Windows 10 users / No anime this time, sorry =)
Windows 10 support has officially ended. This year, I will remove transparency support for Windows 10 from the style. I recommend not using this outdated system, but upgrading to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2 or Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 25H2. These systems do not require TPM, UEFI, Secure Boot or a Microsoft account. If your processor supports SSE4.2 and POPCNT, you can easily install these systems. Changes / v1.8.140
- Added an additional set of icons for context menus. This is not a replacement for existing icons, but a minimalistic alternative with better support.
- The userContent.css file has been tidied up. This should make it easier to add third-party styles.
- Some options are now compatible with vertical tabs. See README.
- The web page transparency option has been improved. New options have been added. Still in experimental status.
- Improved support for tab grouping.
This version of the style will be updated only to fix bugs. No new features will be added.
Firefox 128 (ESR) / WaveFox v1.6.128
Changes
- Tabs attached to the toolbar in One Line mode now occupy a minimum of vertical screen space. When using this mode with compact mode, the browser bar takes up only 32px. Floating tabs remain unchanged.
- Since transparency on Linux and MacOS works out of the box (almost), the ability to control the transparency of the browser toolbar has been returned.
Installation and available options
This version of the style will be updated only to fix bugs. No new features will be added.
