When using a lot of cryptically name variables, it becomes difficult to know what input has to go where.
Also; some variables require extra user attention.

Just like with most COMMAND and TELEMETRY modifiers, I would like the possibility to add a Description string at the end of the VARIABLE keyword.
For example, take the first few variables of the openc3 demo plugin plugin.txt:

I would suggest something like lower photochopped images:
